Actually...
''Actually, I wanted to talk about space'' is a self-portrait book drawn on transparent paper. Through the transparency of the paper and visibility of the different layers, I wanted to break the linearity of the gaze and introduce a time sequence written in another form. The layers in the background function as echoes of the past, but also introduce future actions.
Each layer focuses on the part of the portrait to which the attention is given. While we are fully aware of the whole of the head, when drawing, this action is performed in a linear form: one eye, then the second, then the nose, all appear gradually on the paper until finally the whole is constructed.
The book is based on the action of cutting hair as a break from the familiar and the desire to speak of the existence of specific bounds in time and space.
The poem is written in the Croatian language.
